Clear expectations for clients and virtual assistants.
These platform terms describe the product’s operating rules. Service-specific agreements, payment terms, and applicable law may add additional requirements.
Accounts and accurate information
Users are responsible for providing accurate account, profile, job, availability, and hiring information and for protecting access to their account.
Client roles
Clients should describe legitimate work, expected hours, schedule requirements, tools, compensation, and onboarding needs accurately. A role remains private until the applicable review and service-fee acceptance steps are complete.
VA profiles and vetting
VAs should represent their experience, skills, work samples, availability, and test responses accurately. Approval and public visibility may be changed if information becomes inaccurate, availability changes, or the profile no longer meets platform requirements.
Hiring and service fees
Virtual assistants are not charged to create a profile, apply for jobs, be vetted, accept a placement, or receive their agreed compensation through the platform. Recruiting, candidate-access, placement, and managed-service fees are client charges and are shown to the client separately from VA compensation. A hire should be confirmed only after the client and VA have agreed on final compensation, start date, and working schedule.
Payments and payouts
VirtualAssistant.com.ph can facilitate client payments for confirmed VA work. The VA compensation amount recorded on the work invoice is not reduced by a platform percentage or placement fee. Any VirtualAssistant.com.ph commercial fee is charged to the client separately. Payout timing depends on confirmation of hours or deliverables and on the payout method used; it is not instantaneous.
Acceptable use
Do not use the platform for unlawful work, deception, harassment, unauthorized access, spam, intellectual-property infringement, or requests that would require a user to violate another party’s rights or security controls.
No circumvention of platform payments or contact
Clients and VAs matched through VirtualAssistant.com.ph agree to use the agreed payment and communication process for the engagement and not to move the working relationship off-platform in order to bypass client-side service terms. This includes requesting or offering direct bank transfer, e-wallet (including GCash), or third-party payment app transfers in place of the platform's payment flow, and exchanging personal contact details for the purpose of continuing the engagement outside the platform. Messages are reviewed for indications of this behavior. A confirmed violation may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban of the account or accounts involved, at VirtualAssistant.com.ph's discretion, and client fees already earned for completed recruiting or placement work may remain non-refundable.
Refunds
Placement fees and managed-service charges are billed for recruiting, vetting, matching, and placement-support work already performed and are generally non-refundable once a role has been published or a placement has been made. Where a payment was made in error, was for work that was not delivered, or where required by applicable law, contact us and we will review the request.
Service-specific agreements
Managed services, placement fees, invoicing, replacement commitments, and other commercial obligations should be governed by the specific agreement accepted by the parties. Those agreements take priority where they add terms to these platform rules.
